On Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6, Faith will be celebrating the women of Faith and the LWML. As a representative of the service women perform throughout the congregation, we would like to have ALL worship servant responsibilities for each weekend service filled by women. Please prayerfully consider representing the Women of Faith by filling one or more servant opportunities that weekend. (A signup is posted on an easel in the elevator lobby.)
We will also be using the 9:15AM adult education hour on Sunday to highlight the activities of the Women of Faith and provide information about LWML, its history, mites, and the mission grants that are being supported during the 2019–2021 biennium. To do this we will have a PowerPoint presentation and a table and poster displaying some of our activities. If you would like to help with this presentation or table display, please sign up on the easel.
Women’s Ministry will also be hosting refreshments for the presentation. Please consider contributing a food item of your choice.
In addition, we ask that all members wear any shade of purple as a show of support for LWML and Women’s Ministry at Faith.
Finally, just a reminder that MITES (the way the mission grants are funded) continue to be collected after each service on the first Sunday (and preceding Saturday) of each month. If you’d like to volunteer to assist, please contact the office.
