Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I pray you are well. We face great causes of fear, but we have something much greater: the word of the one, true, living God! Read each verse, and then say a prayer. Repeat and share.
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
“When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy” (Psalm 94:19).
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me” (John 14:1).
“I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
“I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4).
“I want you to be free from anxieties” (1 Corinthians 7:32).
“Say to those who have an anxious heart, ‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you‘” (Isaiah 35:4).
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3).
“And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?” (Matthew 6:23).
Please also meditate on and be led by these passages: 1 Peter 5:7; Hebrews 11:1, 13:6; 2 Thessalonians 3:16; Philippians 4:6; Proverbs 12:25; Psalm 34:17; 2 Timothy 1:7 and Matthew 6:25, 34.
