Boy Scouts Flag Returned from the South Pole

On Sunday, August 23, Pastor Jim met with Scouts and leaders from Troop 198 of Mundelein to return their flag, which he had taken on his mission to the South Pole. The Troop’s flag was flown on an official U.S. Air Force mission from Christchurch, New Zealand to McMurdo Station, Antarctica, aboard the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter. It then journeyed from McMurdo to the South Pole via a Lockheed C-130 Hercules. Thank you Dan Krudop, Mr. Bruecks, Mr. Schlax, and Mr. Fulton for making this possible.
