Hello again! It’s been six months since I’ve written to you. Thanks be to the Lord that our life is moving forward with an increasing number of visits for me.
I have been getting my regular exercise, visiting the groomer, and getting my regular shots at the vet. I need to thank Maree and Steve for all of these activities. For the comfort dog mission, I’ve had significant contacts in three ways during the last several months.
First, there has been an increase in the invitations for visits. Bill and I attended several events, including a high school outdoor camp, an automobile antiques show, and visits to the Libertyville downtown park during Market Day. In all of these activities, people were very happy to see me. We had to observe the pandemic rules with handlers wearing masks. However, because people did pet me, my fur and equipment were always wiped down with anti-germ wipes.
For the past month, Alice, Sue, and I have been visiting a family where one member had certain health problems. This person was very happy to be able to pet and hug me, while the handlers and other family had good conversation.

Second, I have received several greeting cards from kids all over the USA asking questions about what I was doing and for copies of my business card. We sent my personalized greeting card with my business card to all of them. So, thank you to Beth in Mt. Prospect, IL; Caroline in Omaha, NE; Aurora in Joplin, MO; and Donna in Tucker, GA.
Third, I have started to visit Faith Lutheran during Sunday worship service. After the service, handlers take me outside for people to pet me. So, you can see me there.
Be in touch. Peace!
