The 3rd Annual Faith On The Fairway (FoF) Charity Golf Outing is scheduled for Sept. 23, 2023. There are many activities underway to obtain financial support for the Outing and plan the detailed activities during the event.
One important completed action has been mailing a thank you letter to organizations and individuals who supported last year’s Outing. The letter served as a tax receipt for those who donated funds for the Yr. 2022 Outing. There will be an announcement for the Yr. 2023 Outing sent to last year’s supporters and other potential donors.
Work is underway preparing the Outing brochures and registration forms along with various public information pieces to publicize the event. These pieces include special materials used for some special presentations which will happen in the spring and summer. Tentative plans are to attend the Northern Illinois District-LCMS Pastor’s Conference the first week of May and the LCMS Annual Meeting the first week of August in downtown Milwaukee. In each case, the objective will be to provide public information that would, hopefully, lead to support.
We have already received significant donations for the silent auction. We may have participation from members of the LPGA. Clearly, the word has gotten out as to the highly positive reputation gained by this outing and the public benefits achieved.
