NORTH CHICAGO OUTREACH UPDATE
Easter in our Hispanic community…One of our focuses this month is speaking of God’s love. Romans 5:20 states, “the law was added so that the trespass might increase, but where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” One of the five homes where we have been doing Bible study is Kenneth and Michelle, a couple that opened their house to share the love of God through Jesus Christ by His death and resurrection. Thank God for this couple and please pray for them so that God may keep working in their lives.
Women have been ministered to through the Word of God. During the previous second Saturday of the month, we had our Hispanic Women’s Ministry gather in our church. The topic was “The Love of God” (Romans 5:20). We remembered on Easter, how much God did love us in that He gave His only begotten Son. The group is growing by the grace of God, in worship, in Bible study and in fellowship. It is what makes us feel loved as a community.
Thank you, brothers, and sisters of Faith Lutheran Church, for your prayers and the Team to help us and support us in the Hispanic Outreach Ministry.
May God bless you abundantly.
