As we visit homes in North Chicago, we are delighted to have had the opportunity to visit the home of Eva — a resident of North Chicago — to pray for her family and share a short devotion about lent. During this month of March, while the weather is favorable, we continue to share the Gospel and encourage families to remain steadfast in their faith. We give thanks for the great things God is doing within this community and among its families.
Home Bible Studies – This month, we have continued holding Bible studies in various homes—specifically those of Modesto, Kevin, Santos, Irwin, Karina, Tania, Cristian and Josefina in Guerrero Mexico via WhatsApp—inviting friends from each group to attend these home-based sessions. Let us pray that God continues to work, adding more and more people to our fellowship and expanding the reach of the Gospel. May God continue to bring people into the fold, and may we continue to persevere in fulfilling the Great Commission He has entrusted to us.
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for granting us the strength and the courage of Your Spirit to carry Your Word to those who do not yet know You. Keep us united so that, together, we may carry out Your work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Sharing a Reflection with Non-believers – Our devotion for this month, which we share with others, is: “For by grace you have been saved through faith.” It speaks of God’s immense love—that while we were still sinners, He gave us His Son to die for us and grant us eternal life. This season of Lent, we meditate on all that God has done for us through His only begotten Son, who died to give us eternal life. We reflect upon the ministry of Jesus—His surrender of His very life, His time, and His teachings—and we pray that the Lord may work within our lives, enabling us to meditate upon His Word throughout this season of Lent.
