Operation Christmas Child is a ministry through Samaritan’s Purse that shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boys and girls around the world through these Christmas boxes. Our congregation has been packing boxes for this wonderful ministry for a few years now.
This year we have even more ways to help pack boxes than before.
- Pack a shoebox yourself or as a family! We will have empty boxes available in late October. Packed shoeboxes are due back at Faith by Sunday, November 13.
- Pack online! Online boxes are packed by OCC specifically for countries with stricter customs codes, so even more children can receive a box.
- Donate items for Faith’s youth to pack! Each month we’ll be asking for donations of items that Faith’s youth will use to pack shoeboxes.
We are also asking for monetary donations to help pay for the shipping of the Sunday School OCC boxes. Each box cost $10 to ship, so any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Our goal is to pack 100 shoeboxes.
