What is the most important thing that you want the most important person in your life to know? Maybe you have several very important people in your life. Perhaps you even have several important people in the various parts of your life.
What is the most important thing you want to hear from the most important person in your life? Have you ever gone without hearing from someone important in your life?
Have you ever gotten “mixed signals” from an important person in your life? Have you ever been accused of sending mixed signals, despite your best efforts at communication? Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday is the most important week in all of human history. This is when God literally shows up in human form to make right all that we have ever / will ever get wrong. How does God do this? By dying, which is the curse of sin. God takes our sins and in exchange gives us, His righteousness.
A wise chaplain told me a long time ago, that when it comes to relationships and communication; you can not have “quality time” without having “quantity time.”
Do you want to hear from God on the single most important topic of your relationship with Him? Then you are going to have to make an investment of your time. Holy Week begins with Christ’s triumphant entrance into Jerusalem and continues with ever increasing tension as the confrontations mount and the plot to kill Him solidifies. Jesus will give us the Lord’s Supper this week and He will give Himself as the Lamb of sacrifice.
Join us Monday – Friday of Holy Week with worship services focused on what happened each day in Christ’s ministry (10am & 6:30pm). Saturday worship is at 5pm. Easter will be at 8 & 10:30am.
