“Hispanic Ministry” by Gerardo and Delin Hernandez
We continue to work with the North Chicago community by visiting families at their homes.
We would like you to meet a gentleman we recently visited. In the photo above is Mr. David, who recently welcomed us into his home. We have gone several times to visit him before and each time he has happily received us.
During this recent visit we were able to talk for quite a while. He shared how the need is great in North Chicago and that he is grateful that as a church we are doing this service to the community. David is dedicated to his hobby of creating wood crafts. In the photo above you can see how he shared with us what he has created with some of projects.
Also, our Hispanic Women’s Ministry, which meets every second Saturday of the month, is growing. The word of God is transforming the lives of women. The group service starts at 6:30pm with worship to the Lord, then Bible Study, and then a time of fellowship in the cafeteria room.
