FAITH ON THE FAIRWAY GOLF OUTING
The 3rd annual Faith on the Fairway Golf Outing is scheduled for Sept. 23, 2023. While this is still four months away, there are many activities in the works right now. We are currently seeking to obtain financial support for the outing and are planning the detailed activities for the day.
The Outing brochures and registration forms, along with various public information pieces used to publicize the event, have now been produced. These include special materials which will be used for presentations at the NID Pastor’s Conference this month and at the LCMS Annual Meeting in August, which takes place in Milwaukee. The materials are also being used to contact businesses, organizations, and individuals to acquire supporters for the event.
Progress has been made in organizing the Silent Auction. We have already received significant donations. We may also have participation from members of the LPGA. Clearly, the word has gotten out as to the highly positive reputation gained by this Outing and the public benefits achieved. If you want to have some fun at a great golf course, put the date on your calendar: September 23, 2023.
