FAITH ON THE FAIRWAY UPDATE
Our Faith on the Fairway Team is hard at work. With the Lord’s help and provision the event is coming together. Continue to pray for God to lead and guide the team as we seek to bring Christ’s love and hope into our community. As we ask for donations we get a chance to explain Faith Lutheran and how God has called us to serve our neighbors. Below are some exciting updates.
Online Auction Donations // Numerous restaurants in Lake County are providing donations to our Online Auction – from coffee shops to fine dining, Italian, and BBQ. We have received local
theater and sports tickets, a paddleboard, personal trainer sessions and a generous photography package. There will be donations for wine tastings, a food tour, and a hotel stay in Lake Geneva. Praise the Lord for generous hearts! There will be something for everyone. The Online Auction will be open for two weeks from Saturday, September 9-23. Watch the website for auction postings!
Sponsorships // Sponsorships are coming in! In the past months we have generated a lot of interest, yet have a lot of work to do to solidify and secure commitments. Keep praying! God is faithful. Together, with the help of our sponsors we are helping to change the life story of teenagers in North Chicago School District 187.
$100 Hole Sponsors Needed // Would you donate to become a Hole Sponsor? We have numerous holes open. Donate via the website www.faithonthefairway.org or call the church office.
Call for Help // We need volunteers to help in a variety of ways on the day of the event. Contact Evie Bennett, EvieBennett@sbcglobal.net.
SIGN UP NOW! // Join us for a morning of golf. Ask a friend, family member or neighbor to join you. Cost is $150 for an individual, $500 for a foursome. Includes green fee, cart fee, driving range/putting green, continental breakfast, reception, lunch, and participation in the online auction.
Not a golfer? Come for the reception, luncheon, and online auction. // Our keynote speaker is Dr. Thomas J. Egger, President and Professor of Exegetical Theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. What an honor to have him at our event. We are looking forward to what he will share with us. Cost is $50. To register to golf or for the luncheon go to the website or call the church office.
