As the group of women is growing, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are working in and transforming the hearts of each person in this group. People testify that their lives have been changed in the ways they think and speak amidst difficult circumstances. Instead of complaining, they glorify God by thanking Him for how much or how little they have. God is good all the time. Praise Him the grace we know in Jesus our Savior. I believe that we have all complained in life about our human nature of sin, but by the grace of God, it teaches us that all things work together for good for all who have been called to do His will. Definitely the Word of God is what changes the believer.
Celebrando la Navidad (Celebrating Christmas)
On December 9th, we will be celebrating Christmas with the Hispanic group with Bible study, praise, and gifts for the children of North Chicago. This will be a family time. It will be a great blessing since we will be sharing God’s love towards humanity. John 3:16 explains that because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. During this time we will celebrate, children and parents all together, glorifying our God the Creator of the Universe, the earth and everything that lives in it. We will remind ourselves that the true meaning of Christmas, as a believer, is that Christ is with us. His name is Emmanuel (in Spanish – Dios con nosotros). Thank you for your prayers!
