Bible Study in Homes
God is doing great things in our community, as we have reached two new families who have opened their homes to share the word of God. One of them is Tania, who gave us the opportunity to share this photo of her having a Bible study with her two daughters, Alison, 10 years old, and Aylin, 4 years old. This time we talked about the birth of Jesus, as we shared this month of December, where we see lights in homes and All around our community, you can feel the joy of celebrating the birth of Jesus. Thank God for allowing us this time to share the word and connect with Tania’s family. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Glory to God, we are one church in two locations with seven Bible studies in homes. To date, we have been working with families in the communities of North Chicago, Waukegan, and Round Lake, and in Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico, with Josefina Rodriguez. We are working with each of these Bible study groups, developing leadership so that they can serve and invite friends to attend these studies to hear God’s word and pray for each other’s needs.
In 2026, we will be inviting neighbors who live near the homes where we hold Bible studies. Each host of each home will be inviting their neighbors to the Bible study to evangelize, pray for people, and share the gospel. We will be working together with Faith Lutheran Church, and we will keep you informed about these events. God is doing great things in our church, Faith Lutheran. Merry Christmas
On December 13 at 6:30 pm the Hispanic group celebrated Christmas together at our church in Lake Forest, with the children breaking the piñata and everyone sharing a meal. The Hispanic group wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
