I pray you and yours are well. The chart below has two parts to it. The first part is the documented worship attendance at our church from 2003 through 2016. I think we would all agree that this demonstrates there is “needed change.” Amen? The second part of the chart is a statistical probability using Excel’s algorithm. This shows us a mathematical probability forecast where we should expect to end up if change doesn’t happen. This is an unacceptable path!
Since 2016, we have begun to implement change, and by the grace of God, we are actually growing numerically. If things had not changed, we were on track to have 102 in worship in 2019, but we had 143 instead. We will not be going back to how things were done in the past. With God, needed change is possible. Amen?
